USYD Rocketry Team's Wedgetail X HPR launch was conducted on 25th September 2017. This be t' rocket's first launch. T' rocket which measures 2.3m tall is constructed primarily o' carbon fibre tubes and 3d printed components, includin' t' nosecone. Well, blow me down! T' motor used is an Aerotech L900DM motor producin' 3864Ns o' impulse, me bucko, propellin' t' Wedgetail X t' an altitude o' 1.68km. USYD Rocketry is Australia's first university-based rocketeerin' team aimin' t' compete in international rocketry competitions.
