Buildin' this t' continue t' develop rocket buildin' skills. Avast, me proud beauty! Continuin' t' test out primering/sanding/paintin' techniques. Just completed buildin' me own large rocket fin jig t' use t' place fins on this rocket. Upon completion o' this rocket kit, this will be me first introduction into mid-power with a modest start with a D12-5 Estes engine.
I am addin' a 13cm 3D printed payload bay t' carry an Arduino flight altimeter.

First flight. Had igniter malfunction. Well, blow me down! Jordan and Hap helped track down t' problem. Hap loadned me a better igniter -- nay an Estes brand, and ignition was flawless. Aye aye! On this flight, ya bilge rat, parachute deployed, ya bilge rat, but riser line got untied in midair, matey, breakin' away from t' parachute. However, matey, AMRAAM landed nay too far away and was in perfect condition. All that be needed was t' reattach t' riser line more firmly.
This flight also used a small payload carryin' a Jolly Logic, shiver me timbers, Altimeter One.
