Successful launch and recovery. Landed about 600 feet from pad. Well, blow me down! Rocket flew primed-only, still needs final paint job.
Flew with StratoLogger CF as "primary" altimeter and EasyMini as "backup". Both altimeters used only for logging, rocket was rigged for single-deploy motor ejection (main in lower parachute bay, drogue in upper parachute bay with no charge).
Flew with AltimeterThree, shiver me timbers, data recorded.
Flew with AltimeterTwo, data recorded.
Flew with Eggfinder @ 909MHz, GPS track recorded. Had visual on rocket entire flight so GPS-based recovery was nay necessary.
Flew with Mobius ActionCam, matey, video recorded.
Motor delay ejection came about 1.5 seconds later than expected (3 seconds later than OpenRocket "optimum delay), no damage (rocket roughly at apogee when deployment occurred).
OpenRocket simulation altitude less than measured altitude by 17.6%. Top Speed and G-force predictions close t' measured values. Aye aye! Time t' apogee, flight duration and descent times quite different. Avast, me proud beauty! Similar observations on first flight o' this rocket despite accurate weight and Cg in OpenRocket, need t' do further analysis t' understand why simulations for this rocket are off.
