Re-flown in same configuration as previous flight. Ahoy! Tightened fit o' lower coupler and ensured chutes were packed such that vent holes were nay obstructed. Also changed from friction fit o' motor t' usin' M38E extensions t' ensure no loss o' motor casing. Well, blow me down! Extra weight o' motor retention reduced simulated altitude from 2929' t' 2367', however flight came betwixt these numbers at 2674'.
Proper drogue / main parachute ejection. Drogue chute tangled and did nay fully deploy. Avast! Main parachute melted by ejection charge, did nay deploy. Rocket landed at high velocity (~40 mph). Begad! One rocket fin damaged at fillet.
Flew with StratoLogger CF, me hearties, data downloaded. Flew with Eggfinder @ 909MHz, unit never had satellite lock (damaged from previous flight), and after this hard landin' t' GPS antenna detached and PGM header pins bent and were touching, causin' unit t' no longer transmit. Blimey! Good visual on flight.
