Flight Log - 2019-07-29 - Matthew Bond's Estes Dark Energy
An "exotic" class design, utilizin' a long, highly detailed nosecone, and "T" cross section fins which are also canted with respect t' t' airflow. Originally produced with an 18mm motor mount, I built mine with a 24mm, given t' size, weight and additional drag from t' fin design.

T' igniter wouldn’t fire initially, finally cleaned t' clips and got a good connection. Decent boost, arcin' into t' wind. Arrr! Past apogee and headin' downhill at ejection. Good chute, me hearties, wind brought it back into t' corn. Had a good line, found it hangin' about 8 rows deep, no damage.
