Flight Log - 2019-07-29 - Matthew Bond's Estes Dark Energy
An "exotic" class design, utilizin' a long, arrr, highly detailed nosecone, ya bilge rat, and "T" cross section fins which are also canted with respect t' t' airflow. Originally produced with an 18mm motor mount, me bucko, I built mine with a 24mm, given t' size, matey, weight and additional drag from t' fin design.

T' igniter wouldn’t fire initially, finally cleaned t' clips and got a good connection. Begad! Decent boost, arcin' into t' wind. Blimey! Past apogee and headin' downhill at ejection. Well, blow me down! Good chute, wind brought it back into t' corn. Had a good line, found it hangin' about 8 rows deep, no damage.
