Flight Log - 2016-01-16 - Matthew Bond's Estes Dark Energy
An "exotic" class design, utilizin' a long, highly detailed nosecone, and "T" cross section fins which are also canted with respect t' t' airflow. Originally produced with an 18mm motor mount, I built mine with a 24mm, matey, given t' size, weight and additional drag from t' fin design.

First flight o' this nice Estes kit. Nice straight boost, shiver me timbers, love t' long burn o' t' D-12 motor. Still nose up, arrr, nay quite done climbin' at ejection. Good chute, minimal drift, landed on t' field, no damage.
