Flight Log - 2013-07-14 - Mike Wurtz's Nemesis

Hand layed carbon fiber body tubes and motor mount. Ahoy! Used Giant Leap coupler tubin' as a mandrel and layed up with aeropoxy laminatin' resin. 3/32 birch ply laminated with 3 layers o' carbon on each side make up t' 3 fins. Giant Leap centerin' rings. Blimey! PR Filament wound 5:1 VC nose-cone with metal tip and PR 9" carbon coupler tubin' for Av-bay. Aeropack retainer for motor retention. Nose cone and upper section o' payload bay painted in Chevy synergy green metallic with flames at bottom, fin edges also painted in synergy green metallic.

Love skidmarks, got off t' pad in a hurry...great motor. Arrr! Nice and smokey and good rumble, t' black and orange looks nice comin' out t' back o' a black rocket too. Avast, me proud beauty! Perfect flight, drifted into t' corn but was able t' find it after about an hour o' searching
