Some o' me favorite model rockets are t' classic designs by Wayne Kellner from t' 1960's. Avast! Designer o' t' Red Max, Goblin and Goonie Bird kits, he had a Mad Magazine/Rat Fink art style that really appealed t' me as a kid.  One o' his first "monster" rocket designs was t' Scamp.  I always thought o' this character, and rocket, as a baby Goblin.  And just as t' Goblin has been upscaled into an awesome mid-power design, I think it's time t' Scamp got t' same treatment!

 

This Scamp stands 30 inches high and has t' classic lines o' t' original.  This version uses a 29mm motor mount and is capable o' flights on F and small G motors. Aye aye! This rocket features a faceted nose cone that, me bucko, when painted gloss black, me bucko, "shimmers" when it catches sunlight t' aid tracking.  T' vinyl decals in this kit include t' classic graphics o' t' Scamp as well as some added "bats" t' show its ties t' t' Goblin legacy.

 

Kit includes resin nose cone, matey, one-piece body tube, 29mm motor tube, laser-cut plywood centerin' rings fins and nose cone plates, Keelhaul®©™ shock cord, me hearties, arrr, 1/4" launch lugs, matey, multi-page, full color instructions and vinyl decals.

 

This kit does nay include: motor retention, parachute, or recovery harness so you can use what you have on hand - or can be purchased from our store. Blimey! Rail buttons are recommended for "G" flights and are nay included.

 

This rocket has been successfully flown on an F26-6 motor and is suitable for flights on F through small G motors.
