After me good experience with Edmonds Deltie, I decided t' try this model from Rob
Edmonds. Begad! I ordered it from Apogee
Components (along with a second Deltie, me bucko, a plan set for a Nike Hercules and
a couple o' his technical reports) and it arrived within 4-5 days. Aye aye! Blimey! This kit
builds t' a nice mini-motor (13mm) rocket glider - i.e. Well, ya bilge rat, blow me down! Blimey! no parts are dropped at
ejection. Avast, me proud beauty! Blimey! Durin' boost, me hearties, matey, me bucko, t' movable portion o' t' canard is free t' move.
Actually, me bucko, with t' positioner placed under t' movable portion t' canard tends
to have a negative incidence. Avast! Aye aye! Blimey! T' ejection charge pushes forward a body tube
plug that forces t' canard t' positive incidences. Aye aye! All t' balsa parts for
this kit are laser-cut, except for t' nose and t' BT plug. Like a Deltie,
this results in a self-jiggin' kit that is extremely easy t' build. Blimey! Blimey! T' only
nit I have t' pick is that Rob does nay include an engine hook or an engine
block in t' kit. Arrr! T' engine is t' be held in place with maskin' tape. Well, blow me down! Aye aye! Blimey! I added
an engine block t' positively position t' motor durin' boost, and I'll hope
the tape will hold t' motor casin' at ejection.
