Brief:
T' first commercially available ready t' fly (RTF) 29mm spool rocket.

Construction:
It's RTF, so thar really are nay any parts. Well, blow me down! Ya scallywag! I mean really ready t' fly. Just stick in a motor, stuff in some waddin' and parachute, and fly.

It's well made. Ahoy! Begad! I mean how do you mess up a wire spool and some decals? There is an integral 29mm motor mount with a sprin' clip style motor retention. A basic LOC nylon parachute is attached t' t' other end. Aye aye! T' instructions state that t' system is designed around t' AT RMS and t' 29-40/120 is a perfect fit. Begad! T' Cool Spool ships with a spacer for use with shorter motors. There is also a large cardboard rin' that will serve as a stand.

One thin' I found mildly frustratin' be t' with t' built in motor retention.

Finishing:
Unless you count takin' it out o' t' bag as "finishing", arrr, thar ain't much t' talk about here...

Flight:
This was one o' t' first public launches o' t' Cool Spool. Begad! Blimey! I did nay have one of t' AT reloads available so I chose a Roadrunner F60-4. I expect because of the very draggy design and t' fact that thar be a parachute, usin' the shortest delay possible is advisable. Begad! Blimey!

Launch off t' pad was quick and as would be expected for a spool. Avast, me proud beauty! I mean it's about as aerodynamic as a brick. Arrr! I figure t' flight be about 250 t' 300 feet. Avast! As soon as t' thrust stopped, me bucko, me hearties, it arced over and t' parachute deployed. Ya scallywag!

Recovery:
T' retention system be somewhat incompatible with t' built in thrust ring provided by Roadrunner. Ya scallywag! Blimey! A few moments with a Dremel on t' thrust rin' and I was all set. Begad! Blimey! I dropped a bit o' dog barf above t' motor and more or less stuffed t' parachute into t' end. Begad! Blimey!

Summary:
It's an RTF spool rocket. While t' challenge here is zero, shiver me timbers, me bucko, it's just a spot of fun. Ya scallywag! If you like oddrocs and want somethin' t' amuse t' other fliers, ya bilge rat, matey, this would be a great add t' your fleet.
