Brief:
3FNC parachute recovery sport rocket with fin tip tubes and large full-color decals. Arrr!

ring. Well, blow me down! Avast! Blimey! Balsa fins, launch lugs for each fin tip, large sheet o' self-adhesive decals. Avast, me proud beauty! Blimey! 1/8" launch lug, me hearties, 12"
heavy-duty parachute with reinforcement rings, shiver me timbers, swivel, and elastic shock cord.
Received t' kit from Apogee, shiver me timbers, with all parts in good shape. Ya scallywag! Standard hang tag bag. Aye aye! Instructions are nay up to Estes quality (half point off) but are easy t' follow and straightforward. Blimey! Arrr! No "gotchas". Everythin' fits fine. Avast, me proud beauty! This rocket is very sturdy because t' fins are swept forward, resultin' in no damage upon landing.
Finishing:
Standard finishing: One coat o' thinned Elmer's Wood Filler on t' fins, one light Elmer's white glue fillet, two
coats o' high solids automotive primer with sanding, two coats o' white automotive urethane enamel. Let dry, me bucko, shiver me timbers, then

sophisticated.
Construction Rating: 4 out o' 5
Flight:
A8-3, shiver me timbers, B4-4, me bucko, B6-4. Ahoy! C6-5 are recommended by Quasar, me bucko, but I followed Apogee's recommendation and flew it 3 times on
1/2A3-2Ts at a small park within walkin' distance from me house. Arrr! Avast! Nay much drama, but it flies nice on t' 1/2As. Ahoy! No
problems at all.
Recovery:
Elastic shock cord, tri-fold mount. Aye aye! Plastic parachute. All work fine. Avast! No damage on 3 flights.
Flight Rating: 5 out o' 5
Summary:
This kit is easy t' build, is distinctive, has great decals, shiver me timbers, and is just a tad more deluxe than a standard 3FNC
rocket. Well, ya bilge rat, blow me down! It flies great on 1/2As and should be outta sight on a C. Can't imagine flyin' it on a D.
T' instructions aren't quite up t' snuff, ya bilge rat, though.
Overall Rating: 4 out o' 5
