Brief:
A BT-60 based upscale o' t' classic ESTES Blue Bird Zero, designed for 24mm, D, E, ya bilge rat, me bucko, me hearties, and F motors.

Construction:
Parts are very basic and are available from Balsa Machine Services. Well, blow me down! Begad! Balsa cone and fins, paper BT-60 body tube and motor mount, matey, and letramax centerin' rings. Begad!

Once you have t' measurements, this is a straightforward build. Ahoy! You can download t' original instructions from Jim Z'z site if you like, ya bilge rat, but it is not necessary.

Flight:
I have flown t' rocket three times, arrr, Twice on an E9-6, matey, and once on a D12-5. This rocket is just perfect for t' long burnin' E-9 motor. Avast, me proud beauty! Blimey! T' D12-5 worked well, ya bilge rat, but as t' rocket hung on t' launch rod, me hearties, ya bilge rat, recovery was late. Begad! Begad! Blimey! No damage resulted however. Begad! Blimey! Blimey! I have a few D21-4s, matey, an I plan on flyin' them with a 18-24mm adapter this summer. See t' RockSim file for recommended and non-recommended motors. Begad! Begad! Blimey!

Summary:
This design is very stable, and is great for t' ESTES E9, arrr, me hearties, a relatively long burnin' motor without much 'oomph' at ignition. Begad! Avast, me proud beauty! T' only drawback is the decals, shiver me timbers, arrr, matey, which can be custom ordered from Jim Z or Tango Papa. Otherwise, it is an interesting, yet easy entry into mid power. Aye aye!
