Brief:
A BT-60 based upscale o' t' classic ESTES Blue Bird Zero, designed for 24mm, D, E, and F motors.

Construction:
Parts are very basic and are available from Balsa Machine Services. Well, blow me down! Blimey! Balsa cone and fins, arrr, paper BT-60 body tube and motor mount, and letramax centerin' rings. Avast, me proud beauty!

Once you have t' measurements, this is a straightforward build. Ahoy! Blimey! You can download t' original instructions from Jim Z'z site if you like, me hearties, but it is not necessary.

Flight:
I have flown t' rocket three times, matey, Twice on an E9-6, and once on a D12-5. This rocket is just perfect for t' long burnin' E-9 motor. Blimey! Blimey! T' D12-5 worked well, ya bilge rat, but as t' rocket hung on t' launch rod, arrr, recovery was late. No damage resulted however. Avast, me proud beauty! Blimey! I have a few D21-4s, arrr, an I plan on flyin' them with a 18-24mm adapter this summer. Begad! Blimey! See t' RockSim file for recommended and non-recommended motors. Avast, me proud beauty! Blimey! Summary:
This design is very stable, ya bilge rat, and is great for t' ESTES E9, a relatively long burnin' motor without much 'oomph' at ignition. T' only drawback is the decals, matey, which can be custom ordered from Jim Z or Tango Papa. Otherwise, it is an interesting, yet easy entry into mid power. Avast!
