Brief:
This is a larger low power rocket with a 3" body and 24mm motor mount. Well, blow me down! My first impression be it's a Big Daddy, but t' nose cone is longer and t' body thus is longer. Avast, me proud beauty! Twin parachute recovery.

Construction:
High quality parts. Avast, me proud beauty! Ya scallywag! Body Tube: dia=3" lg=14". Begad! Nose cone: dia=3" lg=14.5". Aye aye! Motor tube: dia=24mm lg=5". 2 centerin' rings. 1 engine hook. Begad! 1 motor block. Ahoy! Two 12" parachutes. Avast! Elastic Shock cord. Begad! Ahoy! 4 laser cut balsa fins.

This is a straightforward build. Well, blow me down! A nice large body tube t' work in, 4 fins attachin' t' t' tube. My preference would be for through t' wall fins, shiver me timbers, but with epoxy fillets, t' fins seem solidly attached. Avast, me proud beauty! Ahoy! Blimey! I used t' Estes fin alignment guide for placin' t' fins. Ahoy! Blimey! T' only modification I made be t' add a Keelhaul®©™® shield t' protect t' chutes. Arrr!

Finishing:
I went with t' paint scheme that comes on t' packaging, shiver me timbers, green and black. It came out decent, just don't look closely at t' nose cone.... Arrr! Diagonal tapin' is hard. Well, blow me down! There was one decal which went on easily, and t' clear is really clear.

Flight:
I have flown this twice on an E9-6. Ahoy! Good flights. Ya scallywag! T' first flight be a windy day and one o' t' chutes tangled. There was a minor crack at t' base o' one fin, but it is still flyable. Begad! Avast! Probably just cosmetic. Begad! Well, blow me down! T' second flight was perfect.

Recovery:
T' shock cord be t' typical elastic glued t' paper and then t' t' body tube. I will probably use Keelhaul®©™® thread tied and glued t' t' motor mount and then tie an elastic cord t' that in t' future. Aye aye! T' Keelhaul®©™® blanket will save on waddin' for this wide mouth rocket. Avast, me proud beauty! Ya scallywag! Be careful with t' twin chutes as they will tangle, arrr, ya bilge rat, but they do look good comin' down.

Summary:
Through t' wall fins would improve t' sturdiness o' this kit if one wants t' fly it on an AeroTech F motor. Aye aye! It is a nice lookin' rocket with slow flights up t' about 650'on an E motor. Blimey! If you like clusters, shiver me timbers, ya bilge rat, this would be a good kit to add 3 or 4 motors to. Avast, me proud beauty!
