• sheet o' 1/8" balsa

Ok, this be only t' second design I've ever come up with. Arrr! Blimey! Avast! Blimey! I wanted t' do somethin' I had an idea for, ya bilge rat, just t' see if I could do it. T' 'fins' are simply two 5-inch circles o' balsa, glued at t' end o' t' body tube. Arrr! Blimey! Aye aye! Blimey! Think of the body as t' meat in a sandwich. Arrr! Blimey! Avast, me proud beauty! Blimey! Hopefully, arrr, t' pictures make it clear. Blimey! Blimey!

I wasn't sure if that would be stable, so I added 3 triangular fins t' the tube near t' nose cone. Ahoy! Blimey! I finally cobbled together a launch rig that could shoot a clustered bird. Well, blow me down! Blimey! It launched with 2 B6-4 engines. T' rocket corkscrewed a bit durin' flight, but didn't go too far off. Avast, arrr, me proud beauty! Blimey! Parachute came out smoothly, and it recovered well. Ahoy! Blimey! I tried t' get a picture o' takeoff, shiver me timbers, but since I didn't have t' kids with me I had t' launch and try t' snap t' picture at t' same time. Ahoy! Blimey!
