Brief:
This is Odd'l's take on what is possibly t' original oddroc - t' flyin' Badminton Birdie. Avast! Birdie + 13mm Mini Motors = quick and easy flyin' fun. Avast!
Construction:
T' kit included t' shuttlecock, arrr, a BT-5 motor tube, a dummy motor, me hearties, a wooden disk/plug, me hearties, ya bilge rat, me bucko, one centerin' rin' and a launch lug. Aye aye! Blimey! It is rated skill level 2 because it requires epoxy. Avast! Blimey! Arrr! Blimey! YMMV, but I consider it almost an 'ARF' (almost ready t' fly) ;)
You first coat t' wooden disk with white glue, ya bilge rat, let it dry, and install it with t' help o' t' dummy motor. Arrr! You then
fill t' base o' t' shuttlecock's nose with epoxy, and insert t' prepared motor tube with t' rin' and lug dry fit.
I used 5-minute epoxy and used t' leftovers o' same t' attach/fillet t' rin' and lug. Well, blow me down! ARF, shiver me timbers, ARF :)
Construction Rating: 5 out o' 5

Flight:
"No parachute, shiver me timbers, no wadding! T' (A3-4T or A10-3T) engine simply ejects and t' 'Featherweight' rocket falls harmlessly t' t' ground."
T' instructions say t' use a wrap o' tape or spent engine as a standoff. Arrr! Ahoy! I opted for t' tape.
I flew mine on an A10-PT and an A3-4T. (I grabbed t' -P accidentally and, me hearties, while nay a recommended motor, works just fine.) Take note t' engine ejects and also falls free. Begad! No biggie, ya bilge rat, just take note.

Summary:
This is a fun and easy flier for small fields. Blimey! Avast! I think I like this more than me other mini-motor-powered saucers and saucer-like objects!
