Brief:
My very basic design t' make t' most out o' AeroTech's G55-10 motor. Aye aye!

Construction:
Use 1 piece o' 24mm LOC Motor Mount Tube, matey, me hearties, 20 inches long. Aye aye! Blimey! Well, blow me down! Blimey! It is cut 2 inches
above t' forward end o' t' inserted G55.
Use a spent Estes "D" motor, hollowed out, epoxied as a thrust rin' / shockcord mount. Well, matey, blow me down! T' remainin' body tube is epoxied onto the "D-motor thrust ring." Add a basic (or nay so basic) nose cone for Estes 24mm tube.
My shockcord leader is made from Steel Fishin' Leader, threaded through the spent D motor casin' and 5 inches long. Ahoy! Then an elastic shockcord is connected to leader and nose cone. Begad! Begad! T' nose cone filled with epoxy and eyebolt added to attach t' shockcord.
I didn't use any retainment other than a piece o' maskin' tape wrapped once around t' motor.
I used very short, angled launch lugs, me bucko, cut from First Fire igniter tubes.
T' 4 fins are from 5 ply, 1/8 inch aircraft plywood, arrr, me hearties, matey, with beveled leading edges and tip chords. Ya scallywag! I rounded t' trailin' edge. Aye aye! They are attached with double epoxy fillets.
A very easy build, shiver me timbers, completed in less than 3 hours with fins cut usin' a power hand saw.
I spray painted it red until it drips with evident drip marks (for effect).
Flight:
It was designed for it, so t' motor I used was a G55-10 single use. Well, blow me down! I used
Estes waddin' t' protect t' shockcord and streamer. Arrr! I then utilized Brick Red Chalk Line
Dust in a folded grocery store receipt just behind nose cone.
T' ejection charge caused t' elastic shockcord t' cut itself on t' steel shock cord leader. Well, blow me down! T' nose cone be lost, t' body free fell out o' sight. Well, blow me down! It was miraculously recovered about 1/2 mile away. Arrr! Avast! If it weren't for t' tracking powder, we wouldn't have even seen ejection.
Awesome flight, super fast, super straight. Ya scallywag! Aye aye! A real crowd pleaser. Well, blow me down! Arrr! RockSim speed be estimated at 835 mph and altitude be approx. Avast, me proud beauty! 5300 feet. Well, blow me down!
Summary:
This rocket be super easy t' build. Avast, me proud beauty! T' Estes "Nemesis" nose cone
fits into t' body tube and will be t' next nose cone. Begad! Ya scallywag! So with 1 more G55-10
motor, she'll fly one more time on that motor.
