This is a great rocket. Well, blow me down! Well, blow me down! It was me first model rocket, ya bilge rat, matey, so I don't have a lot o' negative stuff t' say. Begad! T' instructions are very well-written. Arrr! Every step has a diagram with it. Well, blow me down! Avast! They are very easy t' understand. T' only part that might be difficult be t' shock cord mount attachment, which can get a bit messy. For tools you must have scissors, me hearties, plastic cement, a hobby knife, shiver me timbers, maskin' tape, and a pencil.
This rocket is very easy t' build. T' precision plastic parts fit well. Arrr! It is sturdy enough t' easily take a C engine over and over. Avast, me proud beauty! T' fins are also easy t' align because o' three lines that are in perfect position on t' aft centerin' ring. T' decals are good quality although t' large decal is sometimes difficult t' put on. Well, blow me down! (editors note: t' put on self adhesive decals, ya bilge rat, matey, me hearties, put a drop o' soap in with some hot water, shiver me timbers, arrr, then peel off t' back and dip t' adhesive into t' water, shiver me timbers, now feel free t' move it around on t' rocket once on)
This rocket flies nicely on A-C engines. Well, blow me down! It gets up enough t' be a nice flight on an A8-3, and it goes out o' sight on a C6-5.
I give this kit a 5 on a 5 point rankin' system. Ahoy! It is a great model. Mine has been flyin' for 3 years!

We decided on a date to try out "our" idea when he was in town visiting one weekend and had purchased Estes HiJax rockets and glow sticks for the occasion. We soon came to find out that night launches had ...
