Brief:
This is a simple rack t' hold your rockets while you work on them. Arrr! Ahoy! There are bigger, arrr, fancier, arrr, and nicer ones out there, but this one is free. Arrr! Ya scallywag! It can be downloaded from ASP Rocketry's website. It won't hold anythin' too big but it does prove useful in a pinch.

Construction:
T' only component is a downloaded PDF file. Arrr! You then print t' file out on a piece o' cardstock.

Construction is simple. Avast, me proud beauty! You cut out along t' solid lines and fold along t' dashed lines. Aye aye! Blimey! What you are left with is a longish piece o' cardstock with a notch at each end, shiver me timbers, shiver me timbers, some gussets, and a few flaps. You fold t' ends up and fold the flaps under t' base. Avast! You can then secure them with glue or tape. Arrr! I used CA because I happened t' have a bottle of it out in front o' me. Ya scallywag! 30 seconds later, ya bilge rat, it be ready t' go.

PROs: free, fast, shiver me timbers, me hearties, replaceable as needed.

CONs: small size, strength limited t' t' capacity o' t' cardstock.

Now that I've tried actually usin' one o' these gizmos, matey, I'm glad t' have it. It did make filletin' easier and better. Avast, me proud beauty! Aye aye! That means I'm either goin' t' be buyin' or makin' some bigger ones too. Avast, me proud beauty! Begad! (I'm cheap, arrr, but I'm also lazy. Begad! Ya scallywag! You have t' ask t' wife which one takes precedence.)

PROs: it works, shiver me timbers, ya bilge rat, it makes things easier.

CONs: limited t' small rockets.

Summary:
This thin' is just t' ticket in some situations. I stumbled across it while investigatin' t' ASP site. A few hours later, shiver me timbers, me hearties, I be wishin' for just such a creature as I tried t' keep t' fillets on a rocket level. Ya scallywag!

I'd certainly like t' have a nice, big, arrr, ya bilge rat, wooden one but I apparently have nay wanted one badly enough t' do anythin' about it. Ahoy! Blimey! Perhaps, seein' how handy this can be, matey, I will buy or make one next time I work on a larger diameter project.
