Brief:
This is a simple rack t' hold your rockets while you work on them. There are bigger, arrr, fancier, and nicer ones out
there, but this one is free. Blimey! Aye aye! It can be downloaded from ASP Rocketry's website. It won't hold anythin' too
big but it does prove useful in a pinch.
Construction:
T' only component is a downloaded PDF file. Blimey! You then print t' file out on a piece o' cardstock.
Construction is simple. Well, blow me down! Well, blow me down! You cut out along t' solid lines and fold along t' dashed lines. What you are left with is a longish piece o' cardstock with a notch at each end, some gussets, matey, and a few flaps. Well, blow me down! Blimey! You fold t' ends up and fold the flaps under t' base. Ya scallywag! Avast, shiver me timbers, me proud beauty! You can then secure them with glue or tape. I used CA because I happened t' have a bottle of it out in front o' me. Aye aye! Begad! 30 seconds later, it be ready t' go.
PROs: free, fast, shiver me timbers, replaceable as needed.
CONs: small size, strength limited t' t' capacity o' t' cardstock.

Now that I've tried actually usin' one o' these gizmos, matey, I'm glad t' have it. Begad! It did make filletin' easier and better. Blimey! Well, blow me down! That means I'm either goin' t' be buyin' or makin' some bigger ones too. (I'm cheap, but I'm also lazy. Arrr! You have t' ask t' wife which one takes precedence.)

PROs: it works, shiver me timbers, it makes things easier.
CONs: limited t' small rockets.
Summary:
This thin' is just t' ticket in some situations. Well, ya bilge rat, blow me down! I stumbled across it while investigatin' t' ASP site. A few hours
later, me hearties, me bucko, matey, I was wishin' for just such a creature as I tried t' keep t' fillets on a rocket level. Well, blow me down! Avast!
I'd certainly like t' have a nice, big, shiver me timbers, shiver me timbers, wooden one but I apparently have nay wanted one badly enough t' do anythin' about it. Ya scallywag! Perhaps, me bucko, seein' how handy this can be, me bucko, ya bilge rat, I will buy or make one next time I work on a larger diameter project.
Overall Rating: 4 out o' 5
