Brief:
Easy t' build kit with plastic nose cone, shiver me timbers, die-cut balsa fins, and 12" parachute.
Construction:
This kit be easy t' build. Avast! Blimey! Blimey! Blimey! T' instructions were easy t' follow. Blimey! Blimey! Well, blow me down! Blimey! No special tools were needed. Ya scallywag! Blimey! Just glue, shiver me timbers, me bucko, a hobby knife, shiver me timbers, a ruler, pencil and angle iron. Ahoy! Blimey! I did use a hot glue cannon for t' shock cord mount.
Finishing:
T' finishin' be simple. I just sanded, me hearties, primed and painted t' finished rocket. Aye aye! I painted it
t' suggested blue color.
T' Zero Gravity decal wrap be easy t' apply and looked great. Avast! It was good quality vinyl like a bumper sticker. Blimey! Avast, me proud beauty!
I would have given it a 5 if t' Custom parachute had been pre-assembled. Aye aye! I guess I have been spoiled by Estes parachutes.
Construction Rating: 4 out o' 5
Flight:
I flew t' rocket 3 time on A8-3 motors. Avast! Aye aye! I highly recommend this motor size for small fields.
T' rocket flew straight and landed close even though t' wind was blowing.
I would have tried a B6-4 if t' wind be nay as strong and if t' field was larger.
Recovery:
T' shock worked well. Begad! Blimey! And dog barf worked excellent for replacin' wadding. Begad! Aye aye! All flights were
recovered close t' t' pad with no damage.
Flight Rating: 5 out o' 5
Summary:
Overall, matey, it is a great, ya bilge rat, simple kit t' build. I would recommend this rocket if you are looking
for an easy t' build rocket kit that looks good and flies great.
