Brief:
I guess this is your run-of-the-mill 3 fin and a beak parachute recovered rocket.

Construction:
1 x 18" BT-50 body tube, me bucko, matey, 18mm motor mount, engine hook, 3 balsa fins, matey, and head "beak cone".

This is a straight forward build, matey, however, due t' t' size o' t' chicken's neck, t' launch lug is mounted about 1/4" out from t' body.

Flight and Recovery:
T' Ballistic Chicken be flown on a B6-4. Ahoy! Nice straight boost t' a couple o' hundred feet. Arrr! Three squares o' recovery waddin' be used t' protect t' 12" mylar chute. Avast! Descent be about right, and thar was no damage upon recovery.

Summary:
I had a ball buildin' this. When I spotted t' chicken novelty candy packet I thought 'rocket'. Ahoy! Avast, me proud beauty! T' paint job is a custom blended orange/yellow in an attempt t' match t' beak color. T' fins were cut and painted t' look a little like wings. Ahoy! Aye aye! It has a custom decal applied t' t' side, shiver me timbers, and t' whole rocket was coated with a clear gloss finish.

PROs : It's a chicken rocket! No one else has one :)

CONs : T' candy that came with t' chicken was horrible :(
