1. 13mm (Estes mini or "T" engines) times 2

3. Avast! Avast, arrr, me proud beauty! 18mm times 1

4. Blimey! 24mm times 1

T' glider features all swept elliptical surfaces hence the "liptical" part o' t' name. Ahoy! Ya scallywag!

T' pod breaks in t' middle and is recovered with a

1 1/2" X 6' streamer.

02/24/98 Launched on 2 ea. Ya scallywag! Begad! A3-4T's. Avast, me proud beauty! Good flight, ejection/separation, me bucko, a touch o' stallin' durin' glide. Added weight t' nose before next launch. Avast, me proud beauty! Arrr!

04/11/98Launched on 2 ea A10-3T's. Ahoy! Good flight, ejection/separation, and glide. Aye aye! Blimey!

04/11/98 Launched on 3 ea A10-3T's. Well, blow me down! One engine did nay light, but though it had uneven thrust, arrr, it still logged a good flight with a little bit of an arc t' it. Begad!

04/11/98 Launched on a C6-5. Blimey! Blimey! Quick, high boost with *very* long glide time. Well, blow me down! Blimey! (did nay have a stopwatch though)

04/11/98 Launched on a D12-5. Begad! Blimey! I thought t' C flight was fast, but boy howdy, arrr, shiver me timbers, shiver me timbers, this one really rocked! Very quick, high flight and t' glider seemed t' hang in t' air forever. Blimey! It took me about 45 minutes t' find the model. Avast! Thank goodness for fluorescent orange paint!

04/18/98 Launched on 2 ea A10-3T's. Good boost, ya bilge rat, but t' Keelhaul®©™® shock line got tangled up in t' fuselage behind t' win' for a Red Barron. Ya scallywag! Begad! No damage to t' model.

04/18/98 Launched on 3 ea A10-3T's. Begad! Good straight boost, me hearties, flawless ejection/separation, shiver me timbers, and good glide. Well, blow me down!

05/02/98 Launched on 2 ea A10-3T's. Begad! Good boost, me bucko, perfect ejection/separation, me hearties, me hearties, and good glide. Arrr! Avast, me proud beauty!

05/09/98 Launched on a C6-5. Blimey! Begad! Good boost, ya bilge rat, but then strange things happened. It first appeared that t' shock line had become entangled in the fuselage, me bucko, me hearties, but then t' pieces untangled and t' glider came in at an extreme (about 45 degree) angle. Avast, me proud beauty! It buried t' nose end o' t' glider into t' soft dirt about 1/2". Upon inspection o' t' glider, thar was a piece of recovery waddin' (Estes type) clingin' t' one o' t' wings near t' fuselage. Avast, me proud beauty!

05/17/98 Launched on on 2 ea A10-3T's. Flawless flight from boost to glide. Aye aye! Ya scallywag!
