Brief: Upgraded 18mm motor mount t' 24mm motor mount. Avast! Changed parachute t' 7-foot streamer.

Construction: T' Big Dawg is a fun kit t' build and fly as a stock kit. Ahoy! With theses few modifications, ya bilge rat, t' rocket is incredible. Ya scallywag! It's a very simple conversion.

Added 24mm motor mount tube usin' 2 BT55 - BT50 centerin' rings. I had t' modify where t' fins attached t' t' motor mount (shortened tabs). Begad! Begad! Replaced t' standard thin shock cord with 1/2in cord. Replaced 18" parachute with 7' o' streamer. Begad! Painted t' rocket purple and black. Avast, me proud beauty! I used Weldbond for t' fins. T' rest o' t' kit remained stock.

Flight: I decided t' fly this kit on an Estes D12-7 first, me bucko, then 2 flights on Aerotech E30-7T's. Well, blow me down! T' flights were lightnin' fast, me hearties, with incredible altitudes, ya bilge rat, me hearties, possibly over 2000'. Ya scallywag! T' only problem with t' flights were t' landings, a fin broke each time. Begad! Nay too hard t' fix though. Well, blow me down! There were no flight flaws, matey, and t' rocket was nay 'shredded' by t' speeds in achieved.

Summary:This is a great conversion. Begad! I will try t' build this same kit usin' stronger materials, t' prolong it's like. Ahoy! My kit only has a few flights left in it, shiver me timbers, but I am lookin' forward t' each one!
