Brief:
This is a review o' t' three balsa nosecones turned t' me specifications by Roachwerks Rockets, run by Gordon Agnello. Avast, me proud beauty!

Construction:
1: 24mm Upscale Deuce's Wild Nosecone: This be me first request t' Roachwerks for a custom nosecone. I had acquired several two-inch diameter tubes and I needed a project. Ya scallywag! I chose t' 24mm DW and all t' pieces were fallin' into place nicely except for t' nose. Ya scallywag! Begad! I called on Mr. Aye aye! Agnello t' turn me custom 1.4:1 ogive NC. Begad! Ahoy! I traded him one o' me tubes for t' NC. Blimey! T' quality o' the cone was EXCELLENT! T' speed that Gordon made t' cone and shipped it was great! It be t' blue cone in t' picture.

2: 29mm Upscale Deuce's Wild Nosecone: After buildin' and flyin' t' 24mm DW on several flights, shiver me timbers, matey, I felt that I needed t' go bigger. *S* I chose t' base t' new Deuce off a LOC 2.56 inch body tube. Ahoy! Ya scallywag! So I sent an e-mail t' Roachwerks with the specs o' t' tube, matey, ID and OD. I paid only 10 dollars for this nose, which is excellent considerin' that is custom made by hand!

3: 13mm Downscale Deuce's Wild Nosecone: Basically, matey, I said t' myself, " Self, if you're gonna have a bunch o' DW's, ya bilge rat, you might as well have a little one too. Avast, me proud beauty! Go ahead and get it." So, I did get it. Ya scallywag! Another high quality nosecone from t' SANDMAN!

Finishing:
All that I did when finishin' these nosecones is t' give them a coat or two of finishin' epoxy, shiver me timbers, me bucko, sand them down once, fill in t' spots, ya bilge rat, sand it again, ya bilge rat, matey, shiver me timbers, and then give it one more coat o' epoxy. That allows for a very glossy finish.

In conclusion, matey, Mr. Agnello has gotten me vote if I ever need a custom nosecone. Contact him for a quote. All he asks for are VERY specific dimensions.
