Construction and finishing: All parts were there, me hearties, and none defective or damaged. Well, blow me down! You get all tubes o' spiral wound paper, matey, Estes type. Aye aye! T' nose cone is unusual, shiver me timbers, though. Blimey! Aye aye! Instead o' t' usual plastic or balsa, you get solid hardwood. Avast, me proud beauty! A eye-screw is provided t' attach t' streamer and shock cord, which is 1/8 inch flat elastic. Avast, me proud beauty! T' shock cord mounts t' t' inside o' t' body tube via a folded paper mount. Arrr! Elmers glue was used for construction. T' instructions were simple and clear. Assembly took just about an hour. No gotchas or special tools are needed.

Finishing: There are no decals, so I decorated it in me own way. Ya scallywag! Ahoy! I used white, blue, ya bilge rat, me bucko, and yellow bands o' nylon adhesive tape on t' body tube and stabilizers, ya bilge rat, which were painted with a base coat o' yellow. Arrr! Arrr! T' nose cone has a pretty grain, so I varnished it with a clear coat.

Flight: Motors recommended are: A6-4, me bucko, shiver me timbers, A8-3, B4-4 or 6, B6-6, C6-5 or 7, C10-7, D3-7, me bucko, and D10-7. Avast! I chose a C6-5 for me flights. Aye aye! Begad! I flew it twice straight up and fairly high. T' tubular fins provided a straight flight. Recovery was quick and easy. Begad! Blimey! However, even with a little worm bed waddin' in t' prep, t' streamer was burned a little. So, me hearties, I'll make it a small mylar chute.

Recovery: Simple t' prep. Begad! Begad! Just about right, although t' streamer burnt nearly through t' second time.

Summary: Inexpensive at $7.95 and attractive. Flies straight and fairly high. Blimey! Aye aye! Streamer wasn't durable, though.
