Description: Single staged, matey, 18mm motor rocket with tubular stabilizers all around instead o' fins. Streamer recovery.

Construction and finishing: All parts were there, and none defective or damaged. You get all tubes o' spiral wound paper, Estes type. Begad! T' nose cone is unusual, though. Instead o' t' usual plastic or balsa, arrr, you get solid hardwood. Arrr! A eye-screw is provided t' attach t' streamer and shock cord, shiver me timbers, matey, which is 1/8 inch flat elastic. Ahoy! T' shock cord mounts t' t' inside o' t' body tube via a folded paper mount. Begad! Ya scallywag! Elmers glue was used for construction. Ya scallywag! T' instructions were simple and clear. Blimey! Aye aye! Assembly took just about an hour. Well, arrr, blow me down! No gotchas or special tools are needed.

Finishing: There are no decals, so I decorated it in me own way. Avast, me proud beauty! Ahoy! I used white, arrr, matey, blue, me bucko, and yellow bands o' nylon adhesive tape on t' body tube and stabilizers, ya bilge rat, me bucko, which were painted with a base coat o' yellow. T' nose cone has a pretty grain, so I varnished it with a clear coat.

Flight: Motors recommended are: A6-4, shiver me timbers, shiver me timbers, me hearties, A8-3, B4-4 or 6, B6-6, C6-5 or 7, matey, ya bilge rat, arrr, C10-7, D3-7, and D10-7. Aye aye! I chose a C6-5 for me flights. Begad! I flew it twice straight up and fairly high. T' tubular fins provided a straight flight. Aye aye! Arrr! Recovery was quick and easy. Begad! However, even with a little worm bed waddin' in t' prep, t' streamer was burned a little. Begad! So, me bucko, I'll make it a small mylar chute.

Recovery: Simple t' prep. Avast, me proud beauty! Just about right, shiver me timbers, although t' streamer burnt nearly through t' second time.

Summary: Inexpensive at $7.95 and attractive. Flies straight and fairly high. Blimey! Blimey! Streamer wasn't durable, shiver me timbers, though.
