Construction and finishing: All parts were there, shiver me timbers, shiver me timbers, and none defective or damaged. Aye aye! You get all tubes o' spiral wound paper, Estes type. Avast, me proud beauty! Ya scallywag! T' nose cone is unusual, matey, though. Avast! Instead o' t' usual plastic or balsa, you get solid hardwood. Begad! A eye-screw is provided t' attach t' streamer and shock cord, arrr, which is 1/8 inch flat elastic. Blimey! T' shock cord mounts t' t' inside o' t' body tube via a folded paper mount. Aye aye! Elmers glue be used for construction. Ya scallywag! T' instructions were simple and clear. Blimey! Avast, shiver me timbers, me proud beauty! Assembly took just about an hour. Avast, me proud beauty! No gotchas or special tools are needed.

Finishing: There are no decals, so I decorated it in me own way. Avast, me proud beauty! I used white, blue, me hearties, and yellow bands o' nylon adhesive tape on t' body tube and stabilizers, matey, which were painted with a base coat o' yellow. Ya scallywag! T' nose cone has a pretty grain, so I varnished it with a clear coat.

Flight: Motors recommended are: A6-4, arrr, matey, A8-3, me bucko, B4-4 or 6, me hearties, B6-6, C6-5 or 7, shiver me timbers, C10-7, D3-7, ya bilge rat, and D10-7. Begad! Blimey! I chose a C6-5 for me flights. Begad! Blimey! Begad! Blimey! I flew it twice straight up and fairly high. T' tubular fins provided a straight flight. Aye aye! Blimey! Avast! Blimey! Recovery be quick and easy. Avast, me proud beauty! Blimey! However, even with a little worm bed waddin' in t' prep, me hearties, t' streamer was burned a little. Begad! Blimey! Begad! Blimey! So, shiver me timbers, shiver me timbers, I'll make it a small mylar chute.

Recovery: Simple t' prep. Well, blow me down! Just about right, although t' streamer burnt nearly through t' second time.

Summary: Inexpensive at $7.95 and attractive. Ya scallywag! Begad! Blimey! Flies straight and fairly high. Begad! Streamer wasn't durable, though.
