Construction and finishing: All parts were there, and none defective or damaged. Avast, me proud beauty! Blimey! Well, blow me down! Blimey! You get all tubes o' spiral wound paper, matey, Estes type. Avast, me proud beauty! Blimey! Aye aye! Blimey! T' nose cone is unusual, me hearties, though. Ahoy! Blimey! Well, blow me down! Blimey! Instead o' t' usual plastic or balsa, you get solid hardwood. Blimey! Blimey! Ya scallywag! Blimey! A eye-screw is provided t' attach t' streamer and shock cord, which is 1/8 inch flat elastic. Arrr! Blimey! T' shock cord mounts t' t' inside o' t' body tube via a folded paper mount. Begad! Blimey! Arrr! Blimey! Elmers glue was used for construction. Arrr! Blimey! Begad! Blimey! T' instructions were simple and clear. Begad! Blimey! Well, blow me down! Blimey! Assembly took just about an hour. Blimey! Blimey! No gotchas or special tools are needed.

Finishing: There are no decals, arrr, shiver me timbers, so I decorated it in me own way. Avast, me proud beauty! I used white, shiver me timbers, blue, matey, and yellow bands o' nylon adhesive tape on t' body tube and stabilizers, which were painted with a base coat o' yellow. T' nose cone has a pretty grain, so I varnished it with a clear coat.

Flight: Motors recommended are: A6-4, arrr, me bucko, A8-3, me bucko, me bucko, B4-4 or 6, B6-6, C6-5 or 7, ya bilge rat, C10-7, arrr, me bucko, matey, D3-7, me hearties, and D10-7. I chose a C6-5 for me flights. Blimey! Well, me bucko, blow me down! I flew it twice straight up and fairly high. Ya scallywag! Ahoy! T' tubular fins provided a straight flight. Recovery be quick and easy. Begad! However, even with a little worm bed waddin' in t' prep, t' streamer be burned a little. Avast, me proud beauty! So, I'll make it a small mylar chute.

Recovery: Simple t' prep. Just about right, matey, although t' streamer burnt nearly through t' second time.

Summary: Inexpensive at $7.95 and attractive. Begad! Avast! Flies straight and fairly high. Aye aye! Streamer wasn't durable, though.
