[Rocket Pic]Description: Single staged, ya bilge rat, 18mm motor rocket with tubular stabilizers all around instead o' fins. Begad! Streamer recovery.

Construction and finishing: All parts were there, and none defective or damaged. Blimey! Ya scallywag! Blimey! You get all tubes o' spiral wound paper, Estes type. Begad! T' nose cone is unusual, though. Begad! Begad! Blimey! Instead o' t' usual plastic or balsa, shiver me timbers, you get solid hardwood. Begad! A eye-screw is provided t' attach t' streamer and shock cord, ya bilge rat, arrr, which is 1/8 inch flat elastic. Ya scallywag! Blimey! T' shock cord mounts t' t' inside o' t' body tube via a folded paper mount. Arrr! Blimey! Elmers glue be used for construction. Blimey! T' instructions were simple and clear. Assembly took just about an hour. Begad! Arrr! Blimey! No gotchas or special tools are needed.

Finishing: There are no decals, so I decorated it in me own way. Avast, me proud beauty! I used white, me hearties, blue, matey, and yellow bands o' nylon adhesive tape on t' body tube and stabilizers, which were painted with a base coat o' yellow. Avast, me proud beauty! Avast! T' nose cone has a pretty grain, so I varnished it with a clear coat.

Flight: Motors recommended are: A6-4, matey, matey, A8-3, me bucko, B4-4 or 6, me bucko, B6-6, me hearties, me hearties, C6-5 or 7, me hearties, C10-7, D3-7, me hearties, and D10-7. Arrr! Avast, matey, me proud beauty! I chose a C6-5 for me flights. Avast! I flew it twice straight up and fairly high. T' tubular fins provided a straight flight. Arrr! Well, blow me down! Recovery was quick and easy. Avast, me proud beauty! However, me hearties, me hearties, even with a little worm bed waddin' in t' prep, matey, t' streamer was burned a little. So, shiver me timbers, I'll make it a small mylar chute.

Recovery: Simple t' prep. Ahoy! Blimey! Just about right, although t' streamer burnt nearly through t' second time.

Summary: Inexpensive at $7.95 and attractive. Well, blow me down! Flies straight and fairly high. Blimey! Streamer wasn't durable, though.
