Brief:
This is a midnight, ya bilge rat, arrr, I can't sleep, ya bilge rat, me bucko, lets build a rocket. Noticeable feature is
that t' engine is above t' fins, uses a flyaway launch lug, me hearties, or shoots from a
tube. Avast! It has flown on e9-6.

Construction:
I would say this is an Estes level 2/3 rocket. Begad! Blimey! You have t' create the transition yourself. Aye aye! Blimey! plus you have t' make holes for t' wood strip t' go through t' transition. Arrr! Blimey! Well, blow me down! Blimey! All t' parts came from www.commonwealth.net. Well, blow me down! Blimey!
Finishing:
T' finish be done in plum high gloss monokote. You will need a monokote iron
to put it on. Arrr! Begad! This was me first monokote job. Aye aye! It seems t' work nicely.
Flight:
I used a pack o' E9-6 Estes motors. Blimey! There is no room for wadding, but I had a
nomax sock made for t' chute. Aye aye! Avast, me proud beauty! I used Keelhaul®©™®
strin' mounted t' t' center rin' and t' t' cone. Arrr! Blimey! I then attached t' elastics
cord betwixt t' Keelhaul®©™®
loops. Begad!
T' rocket flew straight, ya bilge rat, however after 3 flight the
flame is startin' t' eat away at t' tail fins. Blimey! Aye aye! I need t' find somethin' better
then reynolds wrap t' protect them. Begad! Rocket flew out o' sight on each flight. Begad!
Summary:
It is cool lookin' and can be shot from a tube. Begad! Avast, me bucko, me proud beauty! I still need a better way to
protect t' fins from flame damage.
