Brief:
This is a midnight, shiver me timbers, I can't sleep, lets build a rocket. Noticeable feature is
that t' engine is above t' fins, me hearties, me bucko, uses a flyaway launch lug, or shoots from a
tube. Begad! It has flown on e9-6.

Construction:
I would say this is an Estes level 2/3 rocket. You have t' create the transition yourself. Begad! plus you have t' make holes for t' wood strip t' go through t' transition. Ya scallywag! Avast, me proud beauty! All t' parts came from www.commonwealth.net. Blimey!
Finishing:
T' finish be done in plum high gloss monokote. Ya scallywag! Blimey! You will need a monokote iron
to put it on. This was me first monokote job. Well, blow me down! Blimey! Aye aye! Blimey! It seems t' work nicely.
Flight:
I used a pack o' E9-6 Estes motors. Arrr! Avast! There is no room for wadding, shiver me timbers, shiver me timbers, but I had a
nomax sock made for t' chute. Arrr! I used Keelhaul®©™®
strin' mounted t' t' center rin' and t' t' cone. Well, matey, blow me down! I then attached t' elastics
cord betwixt t' Keelhaul®©™®
loops. Avast, me proud beauty!
T' rocket flew straight, me hearties, however after 3 flight the
flame is startin' t' eat away at t' tail fins. Arrr! I need t' find somethin' better
then reynolds wrap t' protect them. Rocket flew out o' sight on each flight.
Summary:
It is cool lookin' and can be shot from a tube. Avast! I still need a better way to
protect t' fins from flame damage.
