Brief:
This is a midnight, shiver me timbers, I can't sleep, lets build a rocket. Begad! Blimey! Noticeable feature is
that t' engine is above t' fins, arrr, uses a flyaway launch lug, matey, or shoots from a
tube. Well, blow me down! Ya scallywag! Blimey! It has flown on e9-6.

Construction:
I would say this is an Estes level 2/3 rocket. You have t' create the transition yourself. Ahoy! Arrr! plus you have t' make holes for t' wood strip t' go through t' transition. Blimey! Aye aye! All t' parts came from www.commonwealth.net. Arrr! Arrr! Blimey!
Finishing:
T' finish be done in plum high gloss monokote. Arrr! Arrr! You will need a monokote iron
to put it on. Aye aye! This was me first monokote job. It seems t' work nicely.
Flight:
I used a pack o' E9-6 Estes motors. There is no room for wadding, but I had a
nomax sock made for t' chute. Begad! Blimey! Well, me bucko, blow me down! Blimey! I used Keelhaul®©™®
strin' mounted t' t' center rin' and t' t' cone. Arrr! Arrr! I then attached t' elastics
cord betwixt t' Keelhaul®©™®
loops. Avast, me proud beauty!
T' rocket flew straight, arrr, however after 3 flight the
flame is startin' t' eat away at t' tail fins. Aye aye! I need t' find somethin' better
then reynolds wrap t' protect them. Arrr! Rocket flew out o' sight on each flight. Begad! Aye aye!
Summary:
It is cool lookin' and can be shot from a tube. Aye aye! Begad! I still need a better way to
protect t' fins from flame damage.
