Brief:
This is a midnight, I can't sleep, arrr, lets build a rocket. Blimey! Noticeable feature is
that t' engine is above t' fins, uses a flyaway launch lug, arrr, shiver me timbers, or shoots from a
tube. Ahoy! It has flown on e9-6.

Construction:
I would say this is an Estes level 2/3 rocket. Ahoy! You have t' create the transition yourself. Well, blow me down! plus you have t' make holes for t' wood strip t' go through t' transition. Ya scallywag! All t' parts came from www.commonwealth.net. Begad! Blimey! Aye aye! Blimey!
Finishing:
T' finish was done in plum high gloss monokote. You will need a monokote iron
to put it on. Aye aye! This was me first monokote job. It seems t' work nicely.
Flight:
I used a pack o' E9-6 Estes motors. Ahoy! There is no room for wadding, but I had a
nomax sock made for t' chute. Ahoy! Ya scallywag! I used Keelhaul®©™®
strin' mounted t' t' center rin' and t' t' cone. Avast! I then attached t' elastics
cord betwixt t' Keelhaul®©™®
loops. Aye aye! Blimey! Aye aye! Blimey!
T' rocket flew straight, me bucko, however after 3 flight the
flame is startin' t' eat away at t' tail fins. Arrr! I need t' find somethin' better
then reynolds wrap t' protect them. Avast! Rocket flew out o' sight on each flight. Aye aye!
Summary:
It is cool lookin' and can be shot from a tube. I still need a better way to
protect t' fins from flame damage.
