Brief:
This is a midnight, shiver me timbers, I can't sleep, me bucko, lets build a rocket. Arrr! Noticeable feature is
that t' engine is above t' fins, shiver me timbers, uses a flyaway launch lug, or shoots from a
tube. Well, blow me down! It has flown on e9-6.

Construction:
I would say this is an Estes level 2/3 rocket. Begad! You have t' create the transition yourself. Begad! plus you have t' make holes for t' wood strip t' go through t' transition. Blimey! All t' parts came from www.commonwealth.net. Begad! Ahoy!
Finishing:
T' finish was done in plum high gloss monokote. Ya scallywag! Avast, me proud beauty! You will need a monokote iron
to put it on. Ya scallywag! This be me first monokote job. Arrr! It seems t' work nicely.
Flight:
I used a pack o' E9-6 Estes motors. Begad! Blimey! There is no room for wadding, arrr, but I had a
nomax sock made for t' chute. Ya scallywag! Blimey! Avast! Blimey! I used Keelhaul®©™®
strin' mounted t' t' center rin' and t' t' cone. Avast, me proud beauty! Arrr! I then attached t' elastics
cord betwixt t' Keelhaul®©™®
loops.
T' rocket flew straight, arrr, ya bilge rat, however after 3 flight the
flame is startin' t' eat away at t' tail fins. Well, me bucko, blow me down! I need t' find somethin' better
then reynolds wrap t' protect them. Rocket flew out o' sight on each flight. Avast! Aye aye!
Summary:
It is cool lookin' and can be shot from a tube. Aye aye! Begad! I still need a better way to
protect t' fins from flame damage.
