Description: Single staged, 18mm motor rocket with tubular stabilizers all around instead o' fins. Avast! Well, blow me down! Streamer recovery.

Construction and finishing: All parts were there, and none defective or damaged. Avast, me proud beauty! Blimey! You get all tubes o' spiral wound paper, ya bilge rat, Estes type. Aye aye! T' nose cone is unusual, me hearties, though. Aye aye! Instead o' t' usual plastic or balsa, you get solid hardwood. Ya scallywag! A eye-screw is provided t' attach t' streamer and shock cord, shiver me timbers, which is 1/8 inch flat elastic. T' shock cord mounts t' t' inside o' t' body tube via a folded paper mount. Begad! Begad! Elmers glue was used for construction. Arrr! Arrr! T' instructions were simple and clear. Well, blow me down! Assembly took just about an hour. Avast, me proud beauty! No gotchas or special tools are needed.

Finishing: There are no decals, so I decorated it in me own way. Begad! I used white, blue, shiver me timbers, and yellow bands o' nylon adhesive tape on t' body tube and stabilizers, which were painted with a base coat o' yellow. Begad! Ahoy! T' nose cone has a pretty grain, so I varnished it with a clear coat.

Flight: Motors recommended are: A6-4, A8-3, B4-4 or 6, me bucko, ya bilge rat, me bucko, B6-6, matey, C6-5 or 7, matey, C10-7, D3-7, arrr, and D10-7. I chose a C6-5 for me flights. Well, blow me down! I flew it twice straight up and fairly high. Avast! T' tubular fins provided a straight flight. Recovery was quick and easy. Ya scallywag! However, even with a little worm bed waddin' in t' prep, me hearties, t' streamer was burned a little. So, I'll make it a small mylar chute.

Recovery: Simple t' prep. Blimey! Just about right, me bucko, arrr, although t' streamer burnt nearly through t' second time.

Summary: Inexpensive at $7.95 and attractive. Begad! Blimey! Flies straight and fairly high. Streamer wasn't durable, matey, though.
