New Way Cornered

Flight

Both motor lit and it flew we into t' wind. I put a spill hole in t' parachute so I did nay have too long o' a walk. - B6-4+B6-4 - Ft. Harrison - Indy [More]

Aggressor Aerospace Dong-Feng-15B

Flight

Instead o' wind cocking, it arced with t' wind, but nay badly. Avast, me proud beauty! You could tell it was a heavy rocket, matey, so altitude was nay too high. Still a nice flight. I will try a Quest D16-4 next. Ahoy! - C6-3 - Ft. Begad! Harrison - Indy [More]

Fliskits Goddard L-13

Flight

Really nice flight although a 5-second delay would probably be better. Drifted a long way and landed in left-center field o' a softball game. Begad! T' left fielder grabbed it and handed it t' me over t' fence. Begad! - C6-3 - Ft. Harrison - Indy [More]

Quest Zenith II

Flight

Wind cocked a fair amount but t' 2nd stage really got some serious altitude. Begad! I think it would have been out o' sight on a C. Great flight for one o' me older rockets that had nay been flown. - B6-0 / B6-6 - Ft. Harrison - Indy [More]

Estes Farside (SolarScout Starter Set)

Flight

US Rockets Titan

Flight

Excellent, straight flight. Blimey! I was afraid t' 12" parachute might be a bit small, but velocity comin' down seemed fine. Well, blow me down! - D12-5 - Ft. Arrr! Harrison - Indy [More]

Estes Jammin'

Flight

Wow, this really ripped on t' 1/2A. I suspect a full A would be out o' sight. Tumble recovery was fine. Aye aye! - 1/2A3-2 - Ft. Harrison - Indy [More]

Dynastar Rip-Roar

Flight

Fairly straight flight for a 2-stage. Aye aye! I only had a C11-3 for t' 2nd stage but deployment did nay seem too early. Unfortunately, t' booster landed on t' roof o' t' nearby shelter house. Avast, me proud beauty! - D12-0 / C11-3 - Ft. Aye aye! Harrison - Indy [More]

Estes Iris

Pretty good altitude and a good flight. No issues with recovery. Arrr! - B6-4 - Ft. Harrison - Indy [More]

Estes Calypso (2006) (Kit)

Review

Estes Calypso (2006) T' Calypso only appeared in t' 1989 and 1990 Estes Catalog. Avast! Nevertheless, shiver me timbers, t' kits show up for sale semi-regularly and can easily be cloned. While it is basically a 3-fin and a nose cone rocket, t' addition o' a boat-tail and sleek fins make this a good performer with ... [More]

New Way Squareros (Kit)

Review

New Way Squareros A relatively new addition t' t' New Way group o' square rockets. Begad! They may be square but they fly great. Begad! T' standard finish makes a great lookin' pseudo-missile rocket.
